Dear Brainstorm friends,
Hi,
First, I would like to thank you sincerely for the fantastic support you offer here at the forum. Many thanks to Francois for writing me answers whenever I report a problem here.
Second, I am working on a new EEG project comparing autistic and neurotypical participants using a 64-channel Biosemi device. My problem is now that when I want to compute head model for a specific participant, I receive the following error: No cortex available for this subject. I use the cortex surface (and not the MRI volume), and it works for every subject (19 autism and 18 control), but it does not work only for one control participant, and I have no clue why! The EEG is the same, but Brainstorm fails to compute head model every time for this specific EEG from the participant.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Thanks!

Hi @dastgheib7,
Could you provide a screenshot of your Protocol in the Anatomy view (
) , expanding (+) the "problematic" subject and any of the other subjects?
Best,
Raymundo
Hi,
Many thanks for your reply. Exactly as you mentioned, there is nothing available in the anatomy view for this subject, and it is not expandable. I do not know what is happening with this subject and this particular EEG that the brainstorm can not create a cortex surface for. Here is the screenshot that you requested:
Subject 113 is the problematic subject which I highlighted here.
Best,
Samaneh
This confirms that indeed there is not cortex (surface) nor anatomy defined for Subject 13.

Is Subject13 supposed to use the Default anatomy?
Yes: Rick-click on it and select Edit subject, then select Yes, use protocol's default anatomy
No: It necessary to import their anatomy compute its surfaces

Are the Subjects in the Protocol using Default anatomy?

Dear Raymundo,
Thank you a million! Problem solved! I had mistakenly selected no to Default anatomy. I am using the Default anatomy for all of my subjects since I have no MRI and only EEG data. Now that I understand my mistake, my question seems trivial. Thank you very much for taking the time and your reply.
