Postdoc opportunities at the Tech3Lab, HEC Montreal

Dear all,

The Tech3Lab at HEC Montreal is pleased to announce openings for two postdoctoral fellows to conduct neuropsychophysiological research in the domain of Human Factors and Ergonomics. Projects will include both fundamental and applied studies in collaboration with industry on topics ranging from interface accessibility and learnability to methodological investigations of novel sensor technologies and edge computing, multimodal signal processing methods, and adaptive interface development. With four active research programs and more than 60 graduate students, the Tech3Lab offers a dynamic and high-volume research environment with state-of-the-art wireless and wired neurophysiological measurement hardware including EEG, fNIRS, oculometry, ECG, EDA, EMG and more.

Applicants must have completed their degree (or be scheduled to receive it) and have a background in human factors, ergonomics, or human neuropsychophysiological research to be considered. Applicants should be fluent in English (and if possible, French) and have excellent writing and project management skills. Experience mentoring master’s students is a plus. The ideal candidate would have experience with time-series data processing and statistical analysis techniques. Familiarity with EEG/MEG software (Brainstorm, MNE python, fieldtrip, and SPM), programing with Matlab or python, and/or statistical software (SPSS or SAS) will be considered an asset.

Review of applications is ongoing. If interested please send your CV, a brief research statement and the names of three academic references to Dr. Jared Boasen at jared.boasen@hec.ca. For more information about the Tech3Lab, please visit our website at https://tech3lab.hec.ca.
