Problem after update

Dear Francois,

I’ve updated the brainstorm version. And I got that the update was successful.
I restarted Matlab but I got this
BST> Starting Brainstorm:
BST> =================================
BST> Version: 26-Oct-2016
BST> Compiling main interface files…
BST> Emptying temporary directory…
BST> Deleting old process reports…
BST> Loading configuration file…
BST> Checking internet connectivity… ok
BST> Initializing user interface…
>>

And any interface has appeared…

Then I removed brainstorm and downloaded it from the website.
But It gives the same problem.

I have Matlab R2014a.
How could I solve the problem?

I’m sorry, I pushed an update before it was completely tested.
I fixed the problem. Please type “brainstorm update” again and it should work.
Francois

Thank you Francois for your reply.

I downloaded the new version from the site.
Unfortunately I got the same problem and the interface doesn’t appear.

Hi there,

You don’t need the interface to download the new version, just type brainstorm update in matlab when the brainstorm folder is opened in matlab

I don’t know what can be going wrong now. Maybe you haven’t closed Matlab between the two versions (I modified the Java classes in brainstorm.jar, and Matlab cannot update the classes without closing and re-opening).

Can you try the following:

  1. Delete all the brainstorm3 folders you have on your computer (and make sure that you don’t have any brainstorm folder saved in your Matlab path)
  2. Close Matlab.
  3. Download a new version from the website
  4. Start Matlab, go to the brainstorm3 folder
  5. Type “brainstorm reset”
  6. Type “brainstorm”

If you’re still having issues, can you please type “ver” in the Matlab command and window, and copy-paste the output here?
Thanks
Francois
