Problem opening the brianstorm interface

Hi I'm new to EEG and brainstorm. I downloaded matlab runtime 2020 8.6 and now running the brainstorm3.command on my mac os. However it is stuck in the reading process folder step. I'm wondering does it take a long time in general to read process folder or there is something wrong?

BST> Reading process folder...

No, it shouldn't be too long.
If the startup process seems very long, try pressing ENTER after clicking on the terminal window. Sometimes the execution expects some keyboard input, and I could never understand why...

Open a resource monitor before starting Brainstorm, and follow the CPU usage to check if your computer is still doing something, or just stuck.

Try pressing CTRL+C. If you get some text in response, before the process is halted, please copy-paste it all here.
