I'm having problems opening a .mff file. I updated brainstorm and downloaded mffio library for EEGLab and it still does not work. Would you know of any possible solutions? It was recorded with a EGI-system. Also, I can't find a .mff extension on the dropdown menu attempting to import. Am I missing something?

It should be listed under "EEG: EGI-Philips (*.mff)". Make sure to update your software if you don't see it.

Thanks for the information. I have updated my software several times, but no success. Would you happen to have a link to the plug in?
There is nothing to add to Brainstorm to get this entry, it is always there.
It will complain later if it can't find the mff library.
