I am currently studying the Yokogawa/KIT tutorial, but I’ve encountered a series of difficulties along the way and would appreciate some help. I followed the tutorial step by step, but the results I obtained are inconsistent with those shown in the tutorial. Specifically, when reading the stimulation information, the tutorial indicates that there should be 336 occurrences of Trigger01, but I imported 340. The discrepancy becomes more apparent during the “Artifacts cleaning with ICA” step, where I observed significant differences in the outcome. I would like to ask if anyone knows what might be causing this issue.
Hello @wangluhua, while the number of detected events is different (as ), this change should not affect the computation nor the result of ICA decomposition.
You can verify this by plotting the time series for the EEG, EOG and ICs time series simultaneously, as shown in the tutorial:
