When using “Review Raw File” import function, I am allowed the option of picking an event channel to read in the triggers. If I ignore this option, I review the raw file with no events marked. However, later, I would like to re-read this same file and extract the triggers from one of the channels. How can I do this?
It would seem I could use the “Event -> File -> Add Events from File” and re-read the same data file, but that option doesn’t work. Is there a bug, or a missing functionality?
Currently I solve the problem by deleting the raw file and reloading again, this time picking the event channel to use.
This function (reading events from a channel) was previously part of the reading functions. I decomposed that recently, to create individual processes.
The functionality you’re asking for is now available as a process: Import > Events: Read from channel
I’ve just added a shortcut to access it from the “Event” tab, in the menu File > Read events from channel
Hi I am having a similar problem with an EDF file exported from Emotiv management software and aquired via an EPOCx wearable EEG.
When I use the "Read event from channel" function, and select a channel containing events and marked as Stim, no event are added to the EEG file
Any suggestion?
