Hi Francois,
Not sure exactly where the problem I am having here is coming from so perhaps you can help narrow it down. I have this issue with some of my subjects and not with others, I haven't been able to see a pattern to explain it.
Please see the screenshots below. For the electrode display, there appears to be an offset associated with the electrode location relative to the contacts. When I switch the view to spheres it seems fine, and the contacts themselves appear to be correctly located in both cases.
Under the Contacts drop down menu I can project the contacts onto the electrode, but in this case what it seems like what I want is the reverse. Do you have any suggestions as to why this offset is appearing in some cases for the electrode display?
Hi Ken,
The depth electrodes are defined independently from the contacts.
If you load contact positions, the first time they are displayed, Brainstorm tries to detect the positions of the electrode based on the contact names. Then, if you change the position of the contacts (load new positions, or change manually the registration with the MRI), the position of the electrodes is not recomputed. I guess this is what happened in your case. Am I correct?
If you want the positions of the electrodes to be recomputed, you can delete them all from the iEEG panel, close the file, save the modifications, and open it again. The positions of the electrodes should be detected again from the positions of the contacts.
(while testing this, I realized that only removing the electrodes only removing electrodes was not offering to save the modifications - I fixed this, update Brainstorm before testing this)

Hi Francois,
That makes sense. I’m using a process to load in the contact locations and align the headpoints correctly. Deleting the electrodes, closing, then reopening the display fixes the issue.
Many thanks,
Ken
