Select contacts across different electrodes for highlighting

Dear Brainstorm Team,

I am trying to highlight specific electrode contacts in the 3D visualizer to make them stand out (for example, A1, A2, A3 and E1, E2, E3).

However, I’ve encountered a limitation in the GUI: it seems I can only select contacts within a single electrode (shank) at a time. I am unable to perform a cross-electrode multi-selection (e.g., selecting specific contacts from both Electrode A and Electrode E simultaneously) to change their color to red all at once. Whenever I try to select contacts from a different electrode, the previous selection is lost.

Is there a way to achieve this multi-selection across different electrodes in the iEEG panel or the tree view? Or is there a recommended workflow to batch-highlight a custom list of contacts?

Thank you very much for your help and for this great software!

Best regards,

Hello @Renoald,

Indeed, this limitation is placed in the iEEG tab, so it is explicit the equivalence between selected contacts in the Electrodes & Contacts list and the figure. However, it's possible to select contacts from different electrodes at the same time as you aim.

With the 3D figure open, go the database explorer (tree), right-click on the channel file and select Edit channel file. In the channel table, select the multiple contacts holding the [Ctrl] key and clicking on their rows. In this example, contacts A1, A2, A3, B1, B2 and B3 are highlighted.
