Simulate dipole sources that activate at different times

Hi Brainstorm users,

Is there a way in brainstorm that I can simulate dipole sources to begin at different times. For example I am simulating bilateral dipoles where left dipole source gets activated for first 30 seconds and then the right one activated for the next 30 seconds and so on. Such that when I view dipole across time I see only one dipole active at one time. I dont want the signal to be delayed, but I want just one dipole source active at time , alternating between each other. How can I do that for example in this context?

You could do the simulations for both dipoles independently and the concatenate the simulated files with the process Standardize > Concatenate time

Since the simulation assumes the quasistatic approach, the simulated signal from 1 active dipole will be the same over all the time segments of the simulation. Unless you are varying the amplitude and the orientation of your dipole across time.
