sLORETA method query

Hello,

I have been working with EEG data acquisition and analysis. The data was collected from Neuroscan and was data processed in EEGLAB/ERPLAB(Matlab) and further, the analyzed data is exported to check the brain tomography in sLORETA. But, I found a difference in brain patterns at the 0th second of the stimuli, also in the baseline at -50ms. It would be of great help if you can help me out in analyzing the bug. Is it the issue with the data imported, or is it any artifact in the systemic level of LORETA.

Thanks for your help

This procedure creates an inverse kernel that is later applied to all the time points in your recordings.
It's a linear operator that is multiplied to the EEG data. At a given time sample, if you have non-zero EEG, you will most likely have non-zero source maps, including during the baseline.
