Spatial resolution of source reconstruction

Hi,

I have performed EEG source reconstruction on some data. The original T1 MRI contained 1×1×1 mm3 voxels. The resulting source file shows to have 15002 sources, and I'm aware that these points are restricted to the cortex.

How can I find the spatial resolution of the resulting vertices, and is there any way to define this when generating the BEM head model?

For example, some papers state "The solution space was restricted to cortical gray matter and the hippocampus and included a total of 6239 voxels at 5×5×5-mm spatial resolution." - I am interested in finding this spatial resolution on my data.

Thank you!!

Unlike vertices on a volume grid, vertices on the cortical surface are not uniformly distributed, their location depends on the number of vertices and the complexity of the surface. One metric that could be helpful would be the area of the surface faces.
