Support for macOS BigSur

Would like to know support for macOS BigSur

We have no experience with this OS.
Do you have any issue with starting Brainstorm on it?

Matlab 2020b officially supports MacOS 11.
The following page suggests that 2020a works as well, therefore the compiled version of Brainstorm should work:

If MacOS blocks the compiled version of Brainstorm with a security message, try to run it from a terminal, or as described in this article:

I had a similar issue last year with the compiled version of Brainstorm. I found the help from the apple support not very helpful. But found the solution in the wiki of SPM:

Updates:

Error on macOS: mexmaci64 file cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified

On macOS, you may get errors when trying to use mex files (e.g. when running SPM normalization). See this Fieldtrip FAQ post for a solution. If there are other solutions, please share!
