Hi team,
I run a TF analysis (morlet wavelet) in source space using a minimum norm estimate with unconstrained sources.
Attached a figure at a specific time point, I just wanted to know why some area do not showed value and are equal to 0 ?
This is the signal from the beta frequency, how to interpret this ? Does it mean that the signal from the beta frequency originates from this big source patch ?
Thank you

Before you try processing your own recordings, we highly recommend you start by following all the introduction tutorials using the example dataset provided (and then some advanced tutorials related with your specific interests):

It could mean many things: some motor/pre-motor activity, a localization error error due to an inadequate noise covariance matrix or EEG referencing, etc.
This depends on many factors: your experiment, what you did to your data, what your hypotheses are... only you can answer this question.
Does it mean that the signal from the beta frequency originates from this big source patch ?
Follow carefully some examples from the website, to get an idea of what you're supposed to expect.
