A question about the function of the amplitude slider for source visualisation in the Surface tab. Which maximum does the slider refer to? If I fix the colorbar’s max value in the figure and set the slider to 50%, does it display vertices above:
50% of the maximum amplitude of the vertex with the maximal dipole strength throughout the whole epoch?
50% of the max. amp. of the vertex with the max. in the displayed time sample?
50% of the max. amp. of the colorbar (I’m guessing not, since I see some deep blues)?
The amplitude slider in the surface tab always indicates a percentage of the maximum value of the colorbar (the highest value that you can see in the colorbar on the left).
The threshold is done in absolute value: If you set the threshold to 50% and the maximum of the colorbar to 500pAm, you will seethe vertices that have values below 0.5*500=250pAm, or above 250pAm.
To check the value at one specific vertex: right-click on the figure > Get coordinates.
