The Brainnetome Atlas Label is imported incorrectly

Dear Brainstorm Engineers:

When I added MNI parcellation for individual MRI and chose the "Brainnetome Atlas" to import, I found that the atlas label of each brain region was not set correctly.

Brainstorm downloads the Brainnetome Atlas data in http://neuroimage.usc.edu/bst/getupdate.php?t=mni_Brainnetome , and the label of each ROI in the .csv file is actually the CMA (Modified cyto-architectonic) instead of the real label name, which could be downloaded from http://atlas.brainnetome.org/ .

As shown in the figure, the name of ROI 1 is SFG_L_7_1, and the CMA of ROI 1 is A8m L. Maybe can you update the Label information in http://neuroimage.usc.edu/bst/getupdate.php?t=mni_Brainnetome ?

HI @Jixiang,

These names (and colors) come from the LUT file that is distributed with the Brainnetome:
BN_Atlas_246_LUT.txt

As per the publication presenting the Brainnetome atlas:

Acknowledging that most researchers will be more familiar with labeling schemes (broadly) based on the Brodmann atlas, we thus provide tentative labels following this nomenclature, incorporating more recent refinements where available

Since there is a correspondence of one-to-one between the two nomenclatures. You can update the imported Atlas as:

  1. Right-click on the Brainnetome (MNI-linear) anatomical parcellation, then File > Export to Matlab, and give a variable name.
  2. Update according the desired names the second column of the field labels
  3. Right-click on the Brainnetome (MNI-linear) anatomical parcellation, then File > Import from Matlab, and select the modified variable.

Thank you so much!
