Time-Freq Averaging issues on epochs of continuous data

Hi all,

I am computing time-frequency graphs using an time-epoch of continuous data.
However, when I average the 11 epochs (one from each subject) using Average > Average Files and then run the Time-Freq on these is get one graph.
But when I add each individual epoch into the Process tab, then run Time-Freq and select "save average across files" I get a completely different graphical output.

Which method is correct, and would you know why this may be happening?
Am I running the Time-Freq correct in the first place - is it similar to this Time-frequency analysis / Averaging? post from before?
