Trials labelled as "bad trials" on Importing EDF anonymized files to database

Hello, I’m using brainstorm integrated on a virtual platform developed by my team in Lausanne : the Human Intracranial Platform (HIP). Usually I don’t have any problems working with .TRC files of intracranial recording (SEEG), but I recently had to anonymize all my files, and then convert them from TRC to BIDS .edf format for my analysis and now I can’t work on them via Brainstorm anymore….

It was possible to ‘review as raw’ them, add events from files, visualize the data without any problems, but when I ‘import into database’ them, I have this red problem icon and can’t make any preprocessing operations on them as you can see below in the screenshots.

I don’t know what is the problem and how can I fix this…

Thanks you very much for your help

Hi @fl4276, thanks for reaching out.
It seems that the imported segments, contain events that start with the bad legend. In Brainstorm, any imported data segment that contains a bad event is labeled as bad trial (thus the red dot).

Before Import into database check the events in the raw file.
If you are fine with those "bad" events in the imported data, you can rught-click on them as select Accept trial, this will rename the events so the are not detected as bad anymore.

Check this tutorial on (bad) events:

Dear Raymundo,
thank you very much for your quick and very helpful response! Indeed, the conversion on our end created a mini event called “BAD_ACQ” in my files. Once this event was deleted, I was able to reimport the file and there are no more problems!

Thank you again for your assistance
