Hi. I tried to flip the Y axis of my EEG recording file (in .EDF format) and export the result as a new .EDF file. I open the file using "review raw file", then use the "Flip Y axis" icon. Then I try to save the file using File--Export to file--edf". Unfortunately, the file saving process is very, very slow. I'm also not sure if flipping the Y axis has been preserved. Can you help?"
Best,
Krzysztof
Hi Krzysztof,
-
The "Flip Y axis" action is only for display purposes, it does not affect your raw data.
-
Exporting may be a bit slow as it has to rewrite all the data in the EDF+ format.
Is your setup limited in RAM?
Does the progress bar completely stop? In case of Yes: Any error message?
Best,
Raymundo
Thank you, Raymundo
In that case- can we do it (flip Y axis), like, permanently in a different way?
The progress bar does not stop, actually, it just goes on really slowly...
