Hey there!
I am pretty new with both Brainstorm and Matlab, so it's hard for me to understand how to solve this problem, but i tried to change every possibile settings and can't seem to get any closer to a solution.
When I open a figure all the UIControls are zoomed in and consequentially the figure it's too small
I tried to decrease the interface scaling from the 'Edit Preferences' and it gets normal, but then it's hard to use the GUI. I also tried to install Matlab again but it doesn't really change anything
Do you have any advice?
Thank you for whatever you'll be able to do!
Can you please post screen captures of the different results you obtain with the different scaling factors?
Please copy-paste here the output of the function ver
executed in the Matlab command window.
This is the normal interface scaling at 250%
The ver function returns:
MATLAB Version: 9.13.0.2080170 (R2022b) Update 1
MATLAB License Number: 40523914
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home Version 10.0 (Build 22000)
Java Version: Java 1.8.0_202-b08 with Oracle Corporation Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM mixed mode
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATLAB Version 9.13 (R2022b)
Parallel Computing Toolbox Version 7.7 (R2022b)
RF Toolbox Version 4.4 (R2022b)
RICOH MEG Reader toolbox for MATLAB Version 1.0.3
Signal Integrity Toolbox Version 1.2 (R2022b)
Signal Processing Toolbox Version 9.1 (R2022b)
Yokogawa MEG Reader toolbox for MATLAB Version 1.5.2
If I decrease the interface scaling at 150%, it becomes like this:
And what is the problem with this?
Given the resolution of your screen, it looks like 100% would look better.
If I go with anything below 250%, the GUI becomes too small and unreadable
Maybe you could try to find a better balance with the Windows graphical parameters.
Note that after changing these parameters, you need to close and restart Matlab, not only Brainstorm (or maybe even restart your computer).
If you are working with multiple displays, you may have to configure the properties differently for each display.
Done! Now it works perfectly
Thank you so much and sorry for bothering
