Warping error. cannot proceed to warp

Hi,
I try to warp my data and every time I do that, it stops at 17% and cannot proceed to warp.

TQ

Hello,

Are you following the instructions on this page: https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/TutWarping?
Do you get this issue for all your subjects?
I would need to have the data in hand to debug this issue.

If you can’t find a solution and you’d like me to have a look at it, please send me an example dataset:

  • Duplicate the subject: right-click on the subject folder > File > Duplicate subject
  • In the new subject: keep all the anatomy files and the channel file. Delete all the other files, not necessary to replicate your observation.
  • Right-click on the subject folder > File > Export subject
  • Upload the zip file somewhere (dropbox, google drive, etc…) and send me the download link

Thanks
Francois

Hello Francois,

This is the link for my dataset. I also want to ask how do we know our dataset is clean after we do all the pre-process steps? TQ

I could not reproduce what you describe. It worked without any problem.
What I did:

  1. Double-click on the subject, set its configuration back to “Yes, use default anatomy”
  2. Right-click on channel file > MRI registration > EEG: Edit, adjust a bit the alignment between the head points and the surface (answer YES to question “apply the same transformation to MEG?”): https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/TutWarping#Edit_the_initial_MRI.2FMEG_registration
  3. Right-click on channel file > Digitized head points > Warp > Deform > Warp

Check if you have any error in the Matlab command window.
Make sure you have enough memory (open the resource monitor of your system at the same time).

Look at the recordings manually.
Display the power spectrum.
All our recommendations for signal cleaning are available in the introduction tutorials (#10-14), and in these two other tutorials:
