Which tractography software generates TRK format files?
I am not sure, but I would guess probably several tractography toolkits. As shown in the documentation, we retrieved a .trk file from the Human Connectome Project data repository. Maybe a reasonable entry point would be that you consult their Methods pages to identify which software they used for tractography.
