Wrong anat/data filepath

Hi, I’m not too sure what happened but somewhere along the way as someone was opening a protocol in Brainstorm for the first time, the anatomy & data filepaths were set weirdly. Ex) They were supposed to be ‘U:/…rest/anat’, ‘U:/…rest/data’, but they are currently ‘U:/restanat’, "‘U:restdata’. I was wondering if there is a way to edit this in a robust manner. I know in the GUI → edit Anatomy / Subjects, manual editing of the filepaths are not allowed (for a good reason).

Hello @hchoi, indeed it seems the files were manually moved.

You can try to undo this manual change by generating the expected valid Protocol structure.

  1. Make a backup of your files
  2. With Brainstorm closed, copy the anat and data folders to a new protocol e.g. ProtocolTest
  3. Go to the ProtocolTest/data and delete the protocol.mat file
  4. Start Brainstorm, in the main window go to File > Load protocol > load from folder and select ProtocolTest
