I'm doing a ft_sourcestatistics with cluster correction and from the results it seems that the function ft_sourcestatistics creates clusters across frequency bands. Is it somehow possible to do the cluster analysis on individual frequency bands?

You'd probably need to filter all the signals in the frequency band of interest before running the tests.
Make sure your epochs are long enough for the frequency filters you are using.
Depending on your filter design, you might need to filter the continuous files, or to re-import longer epochs.
