Little update: I added the lines in the function and I don't get the "unknown exception thrown"-error anymore, so that is a good sign. However, it has been computing for approx. 36h now, so I am not sure, whether it actually is still computing or if something went wrong and the function is stuck somewhere. I can leave it running for the weekend, but it would be good to know, if this is still a reasonable time

This should take some time, depending on the performances of your computer,
but I'm not sure that 36 hours is normal.
Have you get the results after the weekend.
Could you share the channel file, then I will try to reproduce your computation.

It eventually did finish after approx. 72h. I expected it to take some time, but this seems really long to me - especially compared to the 1h EEG-computation. Here is the link to the channel file (and also again the mesh and cortices, just in case)

This long time is related to the performance of the computer, it was slightly faster for me.
We will work to improve it.
Have you selected all the layers or only the wm/gm and csf for the MEG computation?
