@CGaser Would you know how to help this user?
@rmzargar In the meantime: try uninstalling and installing again both SPM12 and CAT12.
After reading again the title of your message, I realized you are processing a mouse brain.
I think CAT12 is only capable of processing human brains.
@rmzargar
Francois is right. CAT12 is simply not working with rodent data and there exist customized tools for that...
Thank you for your useful information. Is there any plugin that I can use for rodent brain segmentation?

Not within Brainstorm.
So, is it possible to make the surface of a mouse brain with another software and import it to brainstorm?
Do you need the individual MRI of the mouse subject under study? I believe most rodent studies use templates, if no major lesion or structural abnormalities are involved. See for instance https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4545023/, a Brainstorm study with rats where they used a pre-processed brain atlas of the animal. I anticipate there are equivalents for mice out there (e.g., Allen mouse atlas?).
