Is there anyway I can export the registered electrode locations with transparent cortex as a stl or obj file for 3D printing??
The figure here has two components: -1- the surface of the cortex and -2- the sEEG electrodes with some option for the display.
I'm not sure that you can export both components into the same file.
You can export the surface file to Matlab as a list of 3D vertices and surfaces and then convert it to STL file using any functions from Mathworks.
You can also export the locations of the sEEG as a list of 3D points, the shape of the electrode are just visualization patchs.
I don't know how the 3D printer works, but you may find an option to merge the two stl objects together within their software.
