Granger causality for beginners :)

I'm new in GC testing. I read the tutorial but was unclear whether I can use my three time series for computing granger causality and whether there is a multivariate option. Also not sure about the AR modelling and how to apply this to my time series, since i am no engineer! Thanks!

Is there any possibility for BrainStorm to perform multivariate GC analyses or is it restricted to the bivariate model?

Only bivariate approaches are available in Brainstorm:

Why couldn't you?
If you are not sure your signals have the necessary qualities for estimating the GC and are looking for an advice, please describe what you have.

whether there is a multivariate option

No.

AR modeling is for simulations.
If you have your own signals and are not looking for doing any research in signal processing, you don't need to run simulations.

FYI: I merged your posts. Please avoid posting multiple times the same questions in different posts, it makes it more complicated to address them.
