Hello. I´m a clinical neurophysiologist working in intraoperative neuromonitorization (IOM). I am trying to analyse motor evoked potential (MEP) through a time-frequency analysis. My IOM software only lets me export my data in excel files. I am trying to import it them to brainstorm but I can´t seem to manage to do it, I keep getting an error warning.
Thank you very much
You can open the files in Excel and save them as .csv (comma-separated values), then this .csv file can be imported in Brainstorm.
- Right-click on a new Subject then Review raw file
- Select your
.csv file with the format Files of Type as EEG: ASCII text (*.*)
- There are few parameters that you need to specify depending on the way the signals are saved in the Excel sheet
- Finally, click on Import
Unfortunately, files in native Excel format (xls and .xlsx) are not directly supported.
Dear Raymundo, thank you very much. I’ve followed your advise, and did it successfully.
I have another question, does Brainstorm have a way to compare between the morlet-wavelet analysis results?
