Matlab 2025a - Error with OpenGL engine

Hi. I'm experiencing an error. I'm using a Macbook Pro 2021 with an up-to-date OS, Matlab 2025a, and the latest version of Brainstorm (15 July 2025). When I try to start Brainstorm, it doesn't go past the message "BST> Starting OpenGL engine... "

Do you know the solution to this error?

@RCL to debug the issue better:

  1. Can you share the screenshot of the entire error message ?
  2. What is the OS version that you are using ?
  3. Can you run version -java on the MATLAB command prompt and share the result ?

@RCL just following up if you were able to start Brainstorm.

@RCL, we have recently updated how Brainstorm gets the OpenGL information in newer versions of Matlab. Commit: b575e82

Please re-download the latest Brainstorm from the Download page and try again.
Note: Deleting your previous versions of Brainstorm DO NOT delete your databases.
