Project electrode values to subcortical volume at group level

Hello,

I am working with electrode-level data and performing group-level analysis in Brainstorm.

I can successfully project these values onto the cortical surface, which produces a smooth spatial map. However, I would like to know how to project these values onto subcortical structures (such as the thalamus and amygdala) and visualize them in a similar way (i.e., as continuous values within the structure rather than as discrete electrode locations or surface projections).

Is there a recommended workflow to achieve this?

Hi @wangchenyu

I can successfully project these values onto the cortical surface, which produces a smooth spatial map.

Just to clarify: Can you explain how you are doing this?
are the values you’re projecting onto the cortex in microvolts (i.e., direct electrode amplitudes)?

Are you using source localization with Brainstorm, or is it another approach?
