SEEG source localization exclusion zone

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on SEEG source localization, and am that some leadfield vectors are disproportionately larger than others in my OpenMEEG BEM. I came across the PowerPoint for the course given at USC on December 5th 2024 that demonstrates the creation of a 2mm exclusion zone to avoid the issue, but can't find how to create that exclusion zone in brainstorm, as the option described in the tutorial does not appear, and I can't drag my headmodel to the process tab. I can only create it if I use a volume headmodel, but that won't work as I intend to use MEM.

Thank you for any insight!

Hi @Squiyk

Are you using the volume grid or the surface grid?

Currentely, the exclusion zone is currently working with the volume grid only.

@yashvakilna any suggestion on how to work around this for the surface grid?

Hi tmedai! Thank you for your answer.

I'm using a surface grid, as I want to use wMEM source localization on my data. I would be interested if there was a workaround here.
