Strange fibers outside the brain surface

Hello,

I'm following this tutorial https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Tutorials/FiberConnectivity#Importing_Fibers to display the virtual fibers of connectivity.
I used N*N connectivity and Desikan–Killiany atlas as scouts. I'm wondering why there would be fibers outside the cerebral regions I chose (the fibers seems in cerebellum and brain stem). Shouldn't it only display the cerebral fibers?

Is there anyone who can help me with this question?

Hi @xiongruochu, I have been able to replica this issue, I will check it out

I don't think this is a mistake, as cerebellum fibers can explain some EEG connectivity and that feature adds more information.

@Raymundo.Cassani Thanks!

Sorry to disturb you. Is it solved now, or should I try other analysis method of connectivity?

Thank you for replying.

But I've selected atlas scouts to calculate connectivity. The atlas scouts do not include the cerebellum. So I feel it's strange. My data is MEG data.
