Time interval for PLV

I have 15 minutes of control(plcaebo) and 15 minutes of treatment data, i have segmented data into 15 blocks of 1 minute each.

Now only consider only 1 block(1 minute of data), I want to calculate PLV over it, what should be the ideal window length for it. i have read in literature that 5 to 15 seconds is good and with that I have to do moving/overlapping window over 1 minute.
But i want to know:

  1. What is a good time window interval to calculate PLV? or some technique/formula to calculate time window interval?
  2. how can i do moving/overlapping window in brainstorm?

Hello:

There is a related discussion here: How can i get time-series plv
Brainstorm lets you estimate time-resolved PLV across trials or blocks, if this is relevant to your experimental design (i.e. phase consistency across blocks). There is no windowing in the PLV calculation as the phase is extracted using the Hilbert transform on band-pass filtered data. Hence there is no spectral decomposition involve that would require windowing.
Hope this helps.
