Exporting or superimposing possibilites?

Hi!

I'm new here and this question may be redundant, if so I'm sorry. I was wondering for when the data of MEG or EEG is represented on the brain with a colormap/spread can this data be superimposed on the DICOM for exporting? Or to export such data how is it done and also what type of file type does it export as?

Thanks!
Hunain

Hi @Habri,

Once brain sources have been estimated from MEG or EEG sensors, the sources can be exported as either surfaces (GIfTI files (*.gii)) or volumes (NIfTI files (*.nii)) through SPM12. See these tutorials:

Export surface source maps to SPM12
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/ExportSpm12

Export volume source maps to SPM8 / SPM12
https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/ExportSpm8

In addition, sources can be visualized over the anatomy inside of Brainstorm
