Lateral Orbital Sulcus
The lateral orbital sulcus (latOS) is a relatively short sulcus on the infero-anterior lateral surface of the hemisphere. It sits immediately above the edge of the orbital surface of the hemisphere, and below the posteriorly curved segment of the inferior frontal sulcus (IFS). It starts posteriorly (1) and has an anterior and slightly superior course, ending close to the fronto-polar region (2). Start the tracing at the inferior end and move up. |
