Epileptogenic Zone Fingerprint

Brief Introduction
Epileptogenic Zone Fingerprint (EZF) is an open-source software that allows you to process stereotactic EEG (SEEG) recordings, visualize time-frequency (TF) plots and potentially help you localize the epileptogenic zones (EZs) for subjects with focal epilepsies.
Installation
If you do not have the EZF installed, follow this link to download and install. Or you may follow the brainstorm process pipeline as shown below, where you will be automatically directed to the installation website.
EZF Process Pipeline in Brainstorm
1. Click the RUN button on the bottom left corner of the Brainstorm panel to open the process panel as you run any other process. The EZF process can be opened in either Process1 or Process2.
2. Click the Add process button (the gear button on the top left corner of the pipeline editor), then choose the Epilepsy group followed by the Epileptogenic Zone Fingerprint process as illustrated below.
3. The following EZF pipeline editor will be triggered then.
Just click the Run button and
- If you have a MALTAB version older than R2012b, the EZF software can not be installed. Therefore, the pipeline will direct you to the website where the requirements are listed.
- If you have a MATLAB version newer than R2012b but the EZF software has not been installed, the pipeline will direct you to the website for downloading and installation.
- If you have a MATLAB version newer than R2012b and the EZF software installed, the pipeline will start the EZF.
