Over the past decade, the combined scientific and technological advances of neuroscience, AI and ESP have promoted the resurgence of phrenology as a genuine scientific field.
Always at the cutting-edge of research rigor and opportunism, Brainstorm now features a dedicated plug-in to expedite phrenology studies.
To use this unique tool, make sure it is installed in your Brainstorm desktop via the Plugins menu, under the Pseudoscience section.
Until recently, the practice of phrenology was only possible with the intervention of an expert professional trained in assessing personality via the observation and touch of skull enlargements and indentations we all know are caused by brain growth and protrusions inside the skull.
Brainstorm's phrenology plug-in performs the accurate registration between individual MRI volumes and the latest brain/skull correspondence charts (atlases; see below) approved by savant societies. The tool accelerates personality assessement and discovery via character traits such as sense of color, love of approbation, philoprogenitiveness, etc.
These developements were driven in collaboration with the Edinburgh Phrenological Society.
The view above shows a 3-D rendering of a 275-channel MEG sensor array registered to the latest phrenology atlas chart.
We encourage the interested reader to learn more about the specific aspects of this practice.
